Sunday, May 11 - Trinity Sunday, the only Sunday on the liturgical calendar that is set aside to call attention to a church doctrine. And an important doctrine it is. Read II Corinthians 13:11-14 in preparation for the pastor's message entitled "God Talk." Join us at 8:30 for a more informal church experience or at 11:00 for the traditional worship service. Either way, YOU WILL BE BLESSED!

RELAY FOR LIFE returns to Warren June 13-14. This year the schedule is set for noon till noon and once again the event will be held at Betts Park. As has been our practice for the past several years, First Presbyterian Church will field a team of walkers and you are invited to participate. NEW BOOKS FROM OUR PASTORS - Dr. Leininger's most recent, God of Justice: A Look at the Ten Commandments for the 21st Century (CSS Publishing), is now on hand. It has its roots in the sermon series preached here last summer and is dedicated “To the wonderful friends in the congregation of First Presbyterian Church, Warren, Pennsylvania, people who have shown their commitment to the principles of God's justice in their lives and ministry.” Growing Up Male in America is the latest from Dr. Patton. Being born male does not prove much about your masculinity. This book examines how masculinity gets defined in America and what happens to too many males who do not fit the blueprint as expected and demanded.
